South Wales NHS Mobile Clinic Health Bus Hire

The Brief
We were contacted by the Pfizer, who requested a 2 week hire of a vehicle or mobile clinic configured to perform basic health checks on local residents in South Wales during June 2012. The bus would also carry out smoking cessation advise
The Response
We suggested RSP05 one of our single decker mobile clinic buses configured with 2 consultation rooms as the mobile clinic of choice the vehicle being equipped with wheelchair access. Both Pfizer and South Wales NHS accepted our recommendation.
The Result
Very successful tour the health bus visiting 10 locations throughout South Wales undertaking various checks and signed up an average of 100 stop smoking pledges per day
During its 2 week visit to South Wales the bus stopped at the following locations to undertake its mobile clinic duties Cwmbran, Ebbw Vale, Newport and Blackwood
